Appian Media launches its first fundraiser on Kickstarter to create the first half of the Following the Messiah video series. The project was fully funded in 15 days and eventually exceeded 150% of their goal.

The team, consisting of Craig Dehut, Stuart Peck, Jeremy Dehut, Barry Britnell, Jet Kaiser, and Cianan Dehut, travel to Israel and film Following the Messiah episodes 1-5.

RightNow Media Streaming
RightNow Media begins streaming Following the Messiah on their service, with an audience of over 2 million people.

A team, consisting of Craig Dehut, Stuart Peck, Jeremy Dehut, Barry Britnell, Jet Kaiser, Dani Kaiser, Dan Kingsley, Cianan Dehut, and Samuel Britnell, travel to Israel to complete filming of Following the Messiah episodes 6-10.

The YouVersion Bible app adds a Following the Messiah themed plan to its library of plans. The app has been downloaded over 300 million times.

Appian Media holds a premiere to unveil the final five episodes of Following the Messiah. It’s announced that the next project will be a series on the United Kingdom of Israel called Searching for a King. Because of increased popularity, a second premiere event is added in Athens, Alabama.

Fundraising begins for Searching for a King. Appian Media raises $120,000 in 30 days (double what was raised in its first year).

The team returns to Israel, this time focusing on sites important to the story of the United Kingdom, films Searching for a King.
