At over 2700 feet in elevation, the view from the Mount of Olives is nothing less than spectacular. Looking across the Kidron Valley you can see the Eastern Hill (the location of the original City of David), the Western Hill (where Jesus would have been tried before Annas and Caiphas), and the Temple Mount (where Solomon originally built the temple). Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane, which is located at the bottom of the hill.
