The Cove of the Sower is an inlet on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. During the 1st century, there were 16 ports around the lake and this location was prime for docking boats. Because of the natural acoustics in this cove, tradition holds this could have been a possible location for Jesus’ famous sower and soil types teaching.
